Dude. How is it time for another year in review post? Just as in years past, this is one of my favorite posts of the year and I had such a great time going back through all we've shared this year and finding the posts and photos that best represent this year for us. Enjoy! January always feels so good, right? We turn the final page on another year and have the opportunity to be and do whatever it is we want! Everything about 2016 was a new adventure for us and the blog felt no different. 2013 in Pictures
It's been an entire week since I posted here. And almost two since I actually said something more than Merry Christmas. I had grand plans of blogging throughout the week, reorganizing my house, spending our days doing fun things with my girls and really embracing the twelve uninterrupted days we were able to spend together. Our Christmas was wonderful as usual and we did get some re-organization done. And if you count the Subway counter at Walmart and a quick breakfast at IHOP as "fun", then I guess we did those things, too. Mostly the last week has consisted of me lying in bed (or on the couch or the floor or in front of my mother's fireplace), taking multiple prescriptions, watching Breaking Bad and trying to entertain my children while battling the flu. 2011 in Pictures
In January, we saw the elephants walk into town, made our annual appearance on the front row at the Barnum & Bailey circus, saw Sophie turn nine months old, learned to ride our big girl bike and enjoyed Sophie's first "snow"! In February, I learned to be really honest, we enjoyed an Alumni baseball game at our alma mater, you were introduced to Sophie's french fry and we gave this room a major overhaul. In March, we took our first trip to IKEA, took my favorite family pictures ever, celebrated Beemer's eighth birthday and took our first ride on the boat. In April we celebrated someone's first birthday, ate lots of spaghetti, we dedicated Sophie to the Lord before our church and mourned with our state over a deadly tornado.
