Week nineteen was LOTS of fun. Sunday, May 6 (Day 127): I know this makes me quite the child, but taking a nap on a Sunday afternoon is seriously one of the things I most look forward to each week. Both girls are exhausted from the week and usually go down without a fight. We can almost bank on three hours of uninterrupted time! Yes, I realize how lucky we are. I think Josh & I even squeezed a nap in on this day. Monday, May 7 (Day 128): Late Monday night, we decided to watch a little television. Isn't he pretty? And if I'm being honest, he's pretty inspiring, too. If it weren't from him, I'd be on a ledge half of my laugh and stressed out constantly. Thank God, he is even-tempered and slow to anger. He definitely mellows me out! Tuesday, May 8 (Day 129): I heart peanut ...

Project 365: Weeks Fifteen through Eighteen
I never had any intentions of taking a sixteen day blog break, it just happened. I think it's safe to say I've had a little trouble keeping up with the blog in recent months and I really hate it. There just isn't enough time in the day for everything and when I have to let something go, this is it. It doesn't mean I don't miss it or that I haven't been taking tons of pictures to share, just that I've been filling my evenings with more important things for now. BUT, I'm back (at least for today!) and have tons to share. Sit back and enjoy! WEEK EIGHTEEN: Sunday, April 29 (Day 120): It seems like every year a squirrel gets into our attic over the winter and chews a hole in the drainage pipe of our central air unit. I cannot count the number of times that SD has had to climb up there and ...
Project 365: Week Thirteen
Q: How do you know you've turned into a terrible blogger? A: When there aren't any posts between your last two Project 365 reveals. Gah, y'all. I'm terrible. Terrible or not... here's the rundown of our last week together. I'm not making any promises, but I'm going to really try to get back on the bandwagon next week . And these pictures are terrible. This probably seems like a poorly executed April Fool's Day joke. It's not, bear with me. Sunday, March 25 (Day 85): So, breakfast. I probably had the same two slices of peanut butter toast that I have almost every morning. Or it could have been an omelet if SD was feeling really generous. Either way, I didn't photograph it. I decided I would take a picture of our dinner instead and guess what? I forgot about that, too. I ...
Project 365: Week Twelve
This week was long and hard. The girls were out of school for spring break and between running, running errands and working like a mad woman at the office this week, I pretty much crashed into bed every night. I'm thrilled to get back on a regular schedule this week, with the girls in school and my intense project at work wrapping up. I have some great photos to share from a birthday party a few weeks ago, some birthday plans of my own for Sweet Sophie and some photos of the work we've been doing in the yard the last few weeks. Until then, here's what we've been up to! Sunday, March 18 (Day 78): After church on Sunday, SD headed out to play golf with the guys and the littles and I spent the afternoon outside. I finished up a little yard work that we started on Saturday and watched them ...
Project 365: Week Eleven
How can it be Sunday already? Now that I'm doing a linky party once a week, it feels like Sundays sneak up on me awfully fast! We had a lot going on this week and I got some pretty cute iPhone photos. I know I should probably strive to taking a "real" photograph with my "real" camera each day, but when I committed to doing Project 365 this year, I knew that using my phone would make it much easier to keep up with. After all, it's quite rare that I'm somewhere without it! Here is what we've been up to over the last seven days. Sunday, March 11 (Day 71): On Sunday, we had lunch with Josh's parents after church. I mistakenly packed shorts and short sleeves for the girls, with the assumption it would be a beautiful day. 55* and cloudy meant they were a little on the chilly side. We had taco ...
Project 365: Week Ten
It's that time again! Here's what we've been up to for the last seven days. Sunday, March 4 (Day 64): This table is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. It is brass and round and awesome. We have two of them, but unfortunately, we haven't found the perfect location for them yet. For now... it's next to my bed. On Sunday, you could see my current read (finished now -- SO good), nail polish, hair clip (which Josh calls the "beak"), remote control (for the Walking Dead), Essie nail polish, the baby monitor and our alarm clock. In the background - a messy bed and Sophie's teddy bear. Monday, March 5 (Day 65): This girl was so stinking cute on Monday morning. I loved what she was wearing and she was in such a good mood. It took forever to get her to cooperate, but once I asked if I ...
Project 365: Week Nine
It's that time again! Here's what we've been up to for the last seven days. Sunday, February 26 (Day 57): Sunday night we stayed home from church since the girls didn't have Mission Friends. The house was destroyed and there were toys everywhere. They especially love playing with this Hello Kitty bingo game, it has just enough tiny pieces to give them a thrill. Monday, February 27 (Day 58): This is a pretty standard snack for me right now. These Kashi dark chocolate coconut granola bars are SO good and paired with a banana are still under 200 calories. The perfect morning snack! Tuesday, February 28 (Day 59): This is a close up of the console in my car. There is always plenty of change for newspapers and parking meters and just as many sparkly "clippies" for the little girls ...
