8/365: Tuesday night was a disaster. I know I should probably clean out my pantry and refrigerator BEFORE I grocery shop, but you know what they say about the best laid plans. Instead, my kitchen is always a mess on grocery night. Usually, I do that on Monday nights, but the BCS game kind of trumped good food this week. We are on an "eat at home/stay away from fast food" kick, so the pantry was cleaned out and we made an inventory of the food we have at home to help us plan meals better. 9/365: Don't judge, but rules or not, I eat out for dinner on Wednesday nights before Bible study. I met K and Beth after work at Jason's deli and we pigged out on their salad bar. I swear those are the best bell peppers on the planet! 10/365: I caught little bit doing P90x with her daddy. She was a ...

Dailies / Week 1
So, it's seven days into 2013 and I'm finally making waves on the interwebs again. The last three weeks have been insane and let's face it, I was a terrible blogger last year. Because of our fabulous Christmas surprise, I haven't yet posted our 2012 recap or even begun to think about sharing how our Christmas went down. Let's just say it's going to be a Merry January around here! There are about a hundred photos from our Christmas celebrations to edit and upload and closer to a thousand from the happiest place on earth. It looks like I'm going to be a busy blogger this month. One thing I did love about 2012 was posting weekly snapshots via Instagram. Although this steals my thunder a little and gives you previews of full posts to come, I have really enjoyed going back through and seeing ...
Project 365: Week 49
12/2: Naps. That is all we managed to accomplish last Sunday after church. We were exhausted from the football party the night before (Roll Tide!) and their failure to take a nap. Despite how tired they were, they couldn't shut it off, so SD separated them and this little slept on the couch. They slept through Mission Friends that night, so I went to church solo and left them all at home. I also got a text at 8:50 begging for a milkshake, so I rushed home from choir practice and managed to sneak it and grab drinks before they closed. THIS is what my counter looked like before bed on Sunday night. A week's worth of styrofoam cups had accumulated. 12/3: My 5 year anniversary at work brought this bouquet of 15 roses and eucalyptus. Not only was it pretty, but it smelled like heaven! ...
Project 365: Week 48
11/25: We finally started getting our Christmas on and put up this pretty tree in the girls room. 11/26: On Monday after school, we added a small white tree to the playroom and filled it with Barbie ornaments. My aunt has been buying me one every year since Hallmark put them out and has started buying the girls Holiday Barbie and Ballerina Barbie ornaments, too. We had enough this year to fill a whole tree! 11/27: I finally finished the third book in the Matched series by Ally Condie. If you loved Hunger Games, you will love these. They are also dystopian YA fiction, but are more love, less violence. 11/28: I had choir practice on Wednesday night instead of Bible Study since we're getting ready for our musical and was so tired by the time I got home that I crashed without even watching ...
Project 365: Week 47 // Weekend Update
11/18: Josh was still sporting his ridiculous mustache. In case you aren't friends with either of us on Facebook, this one deserves a story. He had a full beard for no-shave November and decided he couldn't take it. He shaved everything but the mustache on Saturday night as a joke, but I had too extreme of a reaction that he decided to keep it and drive me crazy. Finally on Tuesday, I pitched a royal birthday-girl and some tears were involved (I'm not proud of that) and he gave up. He knew how obnoxious it was, but he loves to embarrass himself and anyone around him and thinks it's funny that other people might have taken the stache seriously. 11/20: My 33rd birthday, even though I spent most of the day thinking it was my 34th. I wore this super cute new F21 sweater to work and then ...
Project 365: Week 46 // Weekend Update
11/11: Last Sunday our pastor shared this quote both in our Sunday School class and again in evening worship. How comforting are these words of Lewis Smedes'? I have been looking for several weeks for a cute Alabama sweatshirt, but they were either all ugly or $75. I just couldn't fathom spending that on a sweatshirt?!?! I found this one while we were in Ttown in the children's department. I wore it to church on Sunday night and it is officially my new favorite article of clothing. I also spent some time with my sister packing 20 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. I was also pretty excited when OCC/Samaritan's Purse "liked" my photo on Instagram. I'm a nerd. 11/12: This child is OBSESSED with all things Disney. We've been looking at photographs from when we took Ella and now that ...
Project 365: Week 45 // Last Week
11/4: We went to a super cute birthday picnic after church on Sunday. Meg did an outstanding job with the party and we had such a great time celebrating sweet Lucy. 11/5: I finally got a new phone (although I went with the 4s instead of the 5) and so Sophie inherited my ancient one. On Monday afternoon I finally managed to wipe it clean and install a few games for her. This is pretty much what she's looked like ever since. 11/6: Whether or not we agree with how the election turned out, it's still beyond important to me that we have an opportunity to voice our opinion. I was one of the first ten people to vote in my district on Tuesday morning. 11/7: I usually do my mid-length run on Wednesdays during my lunch hour. I was a little excited this day because I managed to shave 7 minutes off ...
Project 365: Week 44 // Week Before Last
The last week of October/first week of November was such a fun week, I'm not sure why I haven't posted about it yet. I have a boatload of images that I've been meaning to share, but life is seriously holding my computer hostage these days. For now, let's catch up on Project 365 and I promise lots of REAL posts this week. 10/28: I attempted a photoshoot before church on Sunday because I was in love with the dresses the girls were wearing. Sweater dresses are my favorite and when you add suede boots and blonde girls, I'm pretty much smitten. Ella's was a splurge at Mini Boden last month, but I got SK's on the sale rack at Gap for under $15. 10/29: Although we painted pumpkins on Sunday afternoon, I managed to share this picture on Monday, so we'll go with that. On the one hand I felt ...
