It's that time again! Here's what we've been up to for the last seven days. Sunday, February 19 (Day 50): I spent some time helping Josh pack for his business trip to Connecticut / NYC. As much as I love his job and that he gets to travel, I hate the prospect of spending a week without him at home! Later that night, we laid on the couch for some television and I iced my knee. A combination of flat feet and less than ideal running shoes have left me with some knee pain. I'm taking the week off, but I'm icing the knee every day hoping to help it along. Monday, February 20 (Day 51): I composed a "day in the life" post and kept a list throughout the day of what we were doing and what photographs I was taking. It was a fun, but time consuming post. Sometimes I love my handwriting, ...

Project 365: Week Seven
It's that time again! Here's what we've been up to for the last seven days! Sunday, February 12 (Day 43): If you haven't been reading for long, then you might not know that we have 1 closet in our entire house and it is in Sophie's room. Josh & I keep our clothes in wardrobes in the laundry room and it makes for a VERY interesting closet situation. There are no walk-ins around here. Not only is it messy, but you can see I have clothes hanging on both doors, running shoes/gym bag in the floor, an unopened Zulily order, an old Bama shaker and some expandable files. Really? Monday, February 13 (Day 44): On Monday's lunch break, I spent a little time perusing Pinterest. I decided to search for "blue" and see what I could find. Tuesday, February 14 (Day 45): Tuesday was Valentine's ...
Project 365: Week Six
I promise not to say this EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK., but I have actually managed to take a photograph a day for the last 42 days. Seriously, it is rare that I stick with anything this long. Not because I'm not dedicated, but because I'm forgetful! I'm just so excited to be able to look back through my 366 photographs that I cannot help but keep up. Sunday, February 5 (Day 36): We watched the Super Bowl at my uncle Heath's house, pigged out on yummy foods and the kids played games at the dining room table. I had many brownies, snuggled with the hubs and yelled at Sophie to get off of the stairs. I hate it, but I completely missed the #febphotoaday because the prompt was 10 a.m. I was sitting in Bible Study and didn't really think it was appropriate to whip out the iPhone and snap ...
Project 365: Week Five
Yes, I know this is a day late, but did you know that the Super Bowl was yesterday? Between church, afternoon naps, running, cleaning my house and heading out for a party I never even sat down to the computer! I'm gonna go with a day late is WAY better than never right? Sunday, January 29 (Day 29): We took a family outing to the grocery store. This is part of our new get organized / meal planning / couponing plan. SD got to help pick out groceries AND see how expensive they are and the girls got to ride in the infamous race car buggy. I consider this a win for everybody! Monday, January 30 (Day 30): We celebrated SD's birthday at my parents' house. The birthday boy / girl ALWAYS gets to pick their favorite meal. We had pot roast and snuggled our sweet daddy. (And it would seem ...
January: Recapped
Well, friends, I'm pretty impressed with myself. I cannot believe that I managed to take a single photograph every day of the month. Yes, I realize it isn't that difficult to carry your phone around and take a crappy picture, but since I've been in a blogging/picture taking funk for the last six months I would say this was a monumental task accomplished! I'm really happy with my little calendar for the month. I really wanted the images to be clickable so you could view them full sized, but that is pretty time consuming and I didn't quite get to it. Maybe next month. When I decided to create one for each month of the year I didn't really have an idea in mind for what I would do with them all. Maybe I'll print them for a scrapbook or make a photobook or something. Any ideas? Aside from ...
Project 365: Week Four
This week of Project: 365 was much more "people" driven. I took fewer pictures of places and things and many more pictures of the girls. I managed to get several pictures of Ella this week, which really makes me happy. My calendar for this month is filling up and I can't wait to share it with you on Wednesday. I have loved making a photo calendar and I'm already working on the design for next month's! Sunday, January 22: I'm sure Ella was off watching "big girl shows," but Sophie and I snuggled up on the couch to watch football with daddy. At 21 months, this girl already loves football! Monday, January 23: After baths, I found Sophie on the couch with Ella "reading" Little House in the Big Woods and Farmer Boy. We LOVE reading about Laura Ingalls before bed at night. Tuesday, ...
Project 365: Week Three
I did it!! Three whole weeks of taking and posting at least one picture every day. This week was less exciting than some, but there was lots of yummy food involved. You'll also notice that Ella is pretty elusive when it comes to photographs. I didn't catch her a single time this week! Sunday, January 15 - We ate dinner at Huddle House after church. I had french toast! Monday, January 16 - I caught Beemer snoozing sitting up on my way out to work! Tuesday, January 17 - We stayed up late and watched a movie after the girls were in bed. I usually like SJP, but we both hated this movie. It was all we could do to finish it! Wednesday, January 18 - I went to Billy's with a friend for lunch. I don't look at the menu. It is always Billy's Chicken sandwich with cheese and onion ...
Project 365: Week Two
So, my pictures aren't that great this week. I'll be honest... it was rough. Our sweet daddy was in New Orleans celebrating just a little bit, I was SLAMMED at work preparing for an out of town project and my children were a little crazy. I did manage to snap at least one image every day, but that's about the only thing I did this week. My house is a wreck, I worked ten hours on Saturday and I'm gearing up for several weeks of travel at work. Maybe next week will be a little more exciting! Sunday, January 8: Sophie would not go to sleep, instead we stayed up late and watched The Help. Monday, January 9: We had a watch party and did some major celebrating. Roll Tide Roll! Tuesday, January 10: My girls tried to sleep together. It lasted about 15 minutes. Wednesday, January 11: I ...
