We told you about our fun on Halloween, but we didn't tell you how we got there. We dressed up for dance on Thursday and got to share treats with our new friends. We sorted candy and prizes for our friends at school, and wrapped them up pretty with ribbon and homemade stickers. We shared Halloween cupcakes with pretty girls {and boys}. We went to a Halloween birthday party, and got mommy's car stuck in the mud before we left! That's right, folks. My sweet little car got stuck in a yard full of mud and almost made us late for Trunk or Treat. Josh didn't make it to the party and I carefully parked on the edge of the driveway to keep from getting blocked in since we had somewhere to be so soon after the party. As soon as I realized my back tire was ...

Random Tuesday Musings
I wonder why it's always Tuesday when I decide to post a random, rambling list of disjointed thoughts? I'm sorry my posting is so sporadic these days... I'm busy sleeping and eating and naming babies and all. I'm in the process of uploading 58 pictures to share with you and with Halloween coming up, I'm going to have approximately nine times that many pictures by Saturday. Not to mention the two birthday parties we're going to and dress-up night at dance this week. Bloggy goodness, I tell you. Thanks for all of your sweet comments both here and on Facebook, as well as endless emails congratulating us, complementing my belly and praying for us. We so appreciate them all. This pregnancy is going so well and I know that all of the prayers lifted up on our behalf are certainly helping. I ...
Unpredictable?
Josh is making fun of me as we speak for posting this picture... I think it's funny. Obviously this isn't accurate, it isn't science-based, it isn't an ultrasound. It amounts to not much more than a Chinese calendar or an experiment with Drano in the bathroom. BUT, it makes for a good conversation. Even if that conversation cost me $30. This doesn't prove anything, but it will be interesting to see what happens. I still don't have a feeling one way or another and I won't tell you what Josh thinks. We'll just have to wait and see. No, "I told you so's", please! ...
They Are Sweet, But He Is Strong
Ella has been going to children's choir for a few weeks. She's technically not old enough, it's really kindergarten through fifth grade. Since there aren't many activities for her age group at our church and she's pretty mature for her age, we talked to a few teachers about moving her into choir and Sunday School a little early. The first few weeks she was the only person at choir and was so disappointed. Finally, other children came and her response was "the boys and girls came to see me!" We've enjoyed hearing her practice and it has been good for her to have another weekly activity in addition to dance class. This morning was their first "performance," they sang Zaccheus and Jesus Loves Me. Ella has been so excited all week, but was a little nervous about it this morning. I gave ...
A Sick Day List
Today, we had two breakfasts in bed. Both consisted of cheerios. Today, we watched Dora, Max & Ruby and Fresh Beat Band. A hundred times. Today, we begged to go to school and dance. We claimed we weren't sick. Today, we made yummy grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch and took a long nap. Today, we listened to the band practice and sat on the porch in the rain. Today, we wore pajamas and didn't take a bath. Today, we snuggled on the couch and pretended to be well. Today, we had McDonald's for dinner because SD felt bad for us. Today, we were sick, but we had a good day. ...
New Friends
Since Ella and Natalie will be in dance class together starting Thursday, the mommies thought it was a good idea for them to meet. We had a fun afternoon at the park and these two girls hit it off immediately. They were swinging, climbing, sliding and acting silly. ...
Two Ballerinas
Today, Ella was a trooper. Me, Ashley and Beth set out at seven o'clock this morning in search of a consignment sale far away. The two little babies stayed home, but Ella was in tow. She didn't want to play golf with daddy and she didn't want to stay at home. I got her several cute outfits, which I'll share later in the week in a fashion post. The one thing she picked out was a pair of ballerina pajamas. They were in great shape and at $5, it was an easy sale. Then, as if that weren't enough shopping, we picked up Alston and Ava Reese and headed to town. We went to Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Tuesday Morning, Ross, Hancock Fabric and Home Goods. I didn't buy much except for birthday party accessories, but in Homegoods Ella found another little prize. She had been such a good girl today, I ...
A Promise is a Promise
Today was the big day. When I got to Garan's this afternoon Ella was beyond excited. She was all dolled up and the only thing for me to do was whip up a ballerina hairdo. She got up on the ottoman in the sunroom and gave me a couple of good poses. That girl is good at taking pictures! Isn't her dance bag cute? I couldn't bear to spend a lot of money, so I picked up a $2 tote bag from Hobby Lobby, had it monogrammed and added pink rick rack and ball fringe! When we got to class we saw some girls we knew and we were a little more relaxed. The mommy's got to go in for a few minutes which was fun. I swear I was on the verge of tears the entire time. I know that's silly, but she looked so big and did such a great job. There are about 18 kids in her class and two boys - she was very happy ...
