I might have smiled my way through this video today -- it perfectly captures what life was like in our home this month. There were lots of snuggles, puzzles, board games, and new foods to try! I'm still struggling to blog with any regularity, but I am taking so many photos and videos of our family each month and these little monthly videos are so much fun to share. My life is a little frazzled right now and can feel very overwhelming sometimes. We are trying to slow down and really enjoy this season, and that means more board games and less to-do lists. I hope you enjoy these little glimpses inside our home. ...

Dear Internet, Yes, I did tell you that the Little Letter link up would be last Friday and, yes, I did forget. But I'm here now, so all is forgiven, right? Dear Banana Bread, You were delicious. I had been staring at over-ripened bananas for days, so when Polly and I found ourselves with some free time on Tuesday morning, we found this recipe on Pinterest and got started. The bread was amazing and Polly loved dipping her spoon in the bowl of squishy bananas. Dear Feeding Littles, I only recently found your website and I think I'm in love. Of course, I missed your sale yesterday, but that probably won't ...
January Little Things
I've been saying for years that I wanted to take more video of our girls, but I haven't been the best about following through. Now that I have a camera that takes great video, and is super easy to use, I don't really have any excuses for not getting out more often. One of my resolutions for 2019 (even though I haven't even told you about them yet?!) was to film more clips of our every day life and share them in a monthly vlog. I didn't take as much in January as I wanted, but I'm already doing so much more for February, now that I see how easy it was and how much I love the finished product. These clips are probably more fun for me than for you, but I hope you'll enjoy watching our lives unfold a little more this year. ...
Packing Up Christmas
This post contains affiliate links, meaning any purchases made using these links will earn Taz + Belly a small commission. You can read more about our affiliate relationships here. I know what you're thinking -- why are we talking about Christmas in February?! Generally speaking, I take the majority of our Christmas decor down the weekend of MLK Day. The girls like for me to leave them up as long as I can (Who am I kidding? I do, too!) and it's a long weekend after the holidays are over, when I can take the time to purge and organize. I'm also a bit of a procrastinator, so with Polly as an excuse to relax and snuggle, I've only just finished the packing process this week. It's not like our house was still decorated, I just hadn't fully organized or put things away in the attic. I ...
Five Months With Polly
This post contains affiliate links, meaning any purchases made using these links will earn Taz + Belly a small commission. You can read more about our affiliate relationships here. five months as of February 5, 2019 It seems weird posting another update so soon, but I was late to the game last month! Polly turned five months old on Tuesday and in an effort to get us back on track, I'm actually posting this within a few days of that milestone! Height + Weight: I shared her stats in last month's post, but we don't head back to the pediatrician until early March. I'm guessing she's put on a few pounds, though, since we're quickly outgrowing clothes and diapers. We just now had to buy our first box of diapers and I went ahead and sized up to a two. I swear that diapers are sized ...
Currently | February 2019
I'll probably end up writing an entire post about this later in the week (month?), but I feel like the new year is just getting started. Am I the only one who feels like January is a trial run and that I needed that entire thirty-one days to think about what I want out of this year? 2018 was beautiful, but hard, and we're still adjusting to the new normal of having a baby in our house. I'm hoping that February will bring with it some normalcy and that we'll all settle into a new routine. anticipating | I'm anticipating setting some goals for the year -- personally, financially, and with regard to the blog. I've been reading through so many resolution posts of my blogging friends and it's really helped me to clarify what I want out of this year. I'm not only anticipating our year, ...
Disney World 2018 | Part Four
Catch up on our Disney Recaps here: Disney Travel with a Newborn | Disney Part One | Disney Part Two | Disney Part Three On my parents' last day in Orlando, we braved Epcot Center. We had a few fast passes for Future World that morning and planned to spend the remainder of our day, eating our way through the World Showcase. We decided to split up that day, and travel in smaller groups, since everyone's priorities were a little different. My sister's family did things geared for their young kids, Ella & Molly hung out with my parents, and we let Sophie be our tour guide for the day. She had so much fun planning our itinerary. She had to pose with this unicorn in China, because she has two smaller versions of it and loves them. She begged for this one, but wasn't willing ...
Disney World 2018 | Part Three
Catch up on our Disney Recaps here: Disney Travel with a Newborn | Disney Part One | Disney Part Two When we decided to reschedule our trip for Thanksgiving week, my sister and I were both thrilled about the way the dates fell. My birthday is almost always the week before the holiday, but this year's calendar was a little different and since my niece, Vera, and I share a birthday -- we got to celebrate 39 and ONE in the most magical place of all. I try to plan Magic Kingdom as our first and last day, because it's the best, but we just couldn't work that out for this trip. My parents and Molly left the morning of Thanksgiving and since they wanted to see all four parks + Universal in their five days, we couldn't repeat until after they left. We were aiming to be there by rope ...
