/365: I was pretty happy to see on Facebook that Monday morning that JM was doing a one-night show in Tuscaloosa in April. I asked SD if he would buy me a ticket for Mother’s Day and he one better and offered to take me. He is NOT a fan, so this is a sacrifice. Only the third concert we’ve seen together in sixteen years. I scored great seats, 16th row, dead center. After lunch that same day, I managed to pound out a little over three miles with an average pace of 8:41. While I’m not sure that the splits are accurate, the overall time and distance is, so I was still pretty pleased!
/365: Another lunch time run and a confession about how bad my purse was looking. That is a LOT of stuff! In my defense, I’d had a fender bender a week or so before and had a ton of paperwork in my purse at all times – rental car agreement, estimate, tag/title information, insurance paperwork, etc. I also had Breaking Dawn Part 2 and someone’s random sippy cup!
/365: On Wednesday, Ella had dress rehearsal at the studio for her upcoming competition. The girls were precious in their “Zero to Hero” tap costumes. Equally precious was the fit that Sophie pitched that same day. This was a meltdown of epic proportions with the iPod battery died and she could no longer watch “Jake and the Neverland Pirates”. 67/365: I was craving DP in a major way (I gave it up for lent again this year).
/365: Friday was my best friend (of 30+ years), Ryan’s, birthday. I shared the image on the left that morning – I’m guessing it’s my 8th or 9th birthday (and that’s K in the front!). That night Josh & I went out for Mexican to surprise the birthday girl. She was shocked to see a restaurant full of her friends and even more shocked when we forced her to wear the sombrero.
/365: Ella’s first dance competition was the first Saturday of the month. She was a little nervous when we woke up and hit the road, but ended up having a great day. I know the picture on the right is a bit “Toddlers & Tiaras”, but we thought she looked pretty spectacular anyway! 70/365: This day apparently didn’t exist. We were lazy and slept the day away and I don’t think we even left the house with the exception of a lunch date at my parents’ house. Ooops.
