/365: I am still loving yoga class and I’m so sad when I have to miss it. I really wish I could squeeze an extra class in the week, but I don’t have another night available. I’m gonna have to start doing it at home a couple days a week or something. I can tell a huge difference in my balance and flexibility! After class that night, I went through Ella’s end-of-the-year stuff and found a list of her top 5 things about kindergarten. I love how she spells and writes!
/365: On Tuesday, I ran. That’s about it…
/365: By Wednesday, K & I were having serious beach-related problems. We were so ready to go and all we did was text and talk on the phone about how terrible it was that half of our family was already there and we were still working. I know other people love the beach. I get it. I don’t have the monopoly on beach love, but I cannot explain how amazing it is to spend this week with my extended family every year. We are seriously, weird. Like over-the-top, abnormally, normal.
/365: On Thursday, my littles came home for a few days! I know my mom hates the drive back and forth, but she refuses to give up her second week at the beach for a silly thing like the dance recital. They just come home, we dance and then we all go back. These girls were a sight for sore eyes.
/365: The last workday between me and my happy place. I got up and ran a few miles before work and these pretty ladies were mooing at me when I ran by. It was such a pretty, foggy morning with the sun breaking through the clouds. Bells went to work with me since she had dance rehearsal that afternoon. I got a lot of work done, but it was still fun having her across the desk all day.
/365: Saturday was filled with last minute packing, yummy food making, camper stocking and dance mom-ing. Ella was AMAZING in her recital and, as always, I was so impressed with her team. This has been such a huge year of growth for her. After the recital, we headed south.
/365: Our first day of vacation is always the grocery shopping / camp set up / eat good food day, so we weren’t terribly disappointed with a little rain. We had lunch at our favorite restaurant, followed by some mint chocolate chip at Scoops. We were ready to get this vacay started!
