/365: Monday I was THRILLED to be back at yoga and some sort of normal schedule after our disastrous Sunday. While I was gone, Josh and his best friend Chris, took the girls to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner. Can we talk about good daddies? They were in town for a few days and my girls were so excited to see them. I was just excited to avoid the death trap that is Chuck E. Cheese for a little longer.
/365: I finally got back to work on Tuesday and it was weird to wear real clothes and fix my hair. Of course my morning was made better by a new dress from the LOFT outlet and a new song from my boyfriend. Thank you, JM. After work, we headed over to a local farm to pick up the newest member of our family. Meet Killer. She looks deadly, right?
/365: On Wednesday nights this summer, my Bible study group is doing something a little different. Instead of reading a new book we’re trying to put feet to our faith and are enjoying some outreach instead. We are having play time and devotion with the children in a small neighborhood around the corner from where I live. We play games, draw with sidewalk chalk, eat pizza & cookies and learn about Jesus! 172/365: After work on Thursday, the girls got much needed haircuts. Ella has the thickest head of hair and her curls just make matters worse. Our M.O. is to get it all cut off right after dance recital and let it grown again until the next year.
/365: Sophie & I had a little Subway picnic on the porch Friday evening and tried our best to coax Killer out of her hidey hole. 174/365: By Saturday morning, she was part of the family and no longer running every time we stepped outside.
/365: After church on Sunday, we headed straight to the pool and spent way to many hours in the sun. Sophie may or may not have stripped her bathing suit off after a potty break and refused to put it back on!
