I know that February is a shorter month, but it felt weeks shorter than January did. It doesn’t feel quite like March to be. That sounds so much later in the year?! We have been blessed with some beautiful weather, after countless days of pouring rain, so we’re all pretty thankful that Spring is finally making its arrival. I know better than to pack up the boots just yet (we had a chance of snow over the weekend and the biggest snow of my life came in April), but I hope we’re getting just a little bit closer to spending our days outside.
scheming | I’m pretty sure I talked about Spring Break in last month’s installment, but now that it’s only a few weeks away, it’s at the top of my list. We’re only traveling an hour away, for a lakeside camping trip, but the kids are so excited. They’ve been scheming up ways to spend our time, while I’m trying to figure how Josh & I can both work and entertain three kids! We’ll be packing groceries for seven days x three meals, so I might share a meal planning post for that trip later in the month.
reading | YOU GUYS, I read books this month! Two of them are casual reads that I’m not necessarily finished with, but they are helping with all the baby raising going on over here. I also managed to finish all 700+ pages of the second Game of Thrones novel and I’m waiting on number three to arrive. I’ve starting to share books on my Bookstagram account again and I kind of feel like myself again.
buying | The only thing I’m buying right now is Easter basket fillers. The Target dollar spot had some great goodies last week and a recent collab filled the “toy” category pretty well. I still need to pick up swimsuits and candy, but I’m pretty close to being done.
making | I taught a few breakout sessions at a local women’s conference this past weekend and it was all the encouragement I needed to get back into my Bible. Sophie and I have been spending time together at the dining room table, surrounded by supplies, and it’s nice to do something creative for the first time since Polly was born.
accomplishing | I wrote a few posts about our recent accomplishments last week and I’m still going strong. I’ve since tackled the craft shelves in the sun room, completely cleaned out my closet, and Josh is almost finished a new concrete counter top for a piece of furniture in our living room. It still needs a few finishing touches, but I’m so close.
