I’ll probably end up writing an entire post about this later in the week (month?), but I feel like the new year is just getting started. Am I the only one who feels like January is a trial run and that I needed that entire thirty-one days to think about what I want out of this year? 2018 was beautiful, but hard, and we’re still adjusting to the new normal of having a baby in our house. I’m hoping that February will bring with it some normalcy and that we’ll all settle into a new routine.
anticipating | I’m anticipating setting some goals for the year — personally, financially, and with regard to the blog. I’ve been reading through so many resolution posts of my blogging friends and it’s really helped me to clarify what I want out of this year. I’m not only anticipating our year, but I’m anticipating sharing it with those of you reading.
going | We aren’t going anywhere this month and I’m thrilled about it. Competition season begins in March, so we’ll be traveling around watching Ella dance. Add Spring Break and a short trip for Sophie’s birthday and it will be summer vacation before you know it. We’re going to stay at home this month and I’m looking forward to a little more hibernation.
making | We’re making plans for our home renovation this month and hoping to begin tackling them once the weather warms up. We’re doing a bedroom shuffle for the girls (thanks, Polly!) and planning new office spaces for Josh and I both.
watching | We need some serious television recommendations, because we’re king of in a dry spell. I did love the Fyre Festival documentary on Netflix (what in the actual world?!) and we are really digging this season of True Detective (the second season was such a let down). I know Game of Thrones is a controversial one, so I get it if you aren’t a fan, but we’re also re-watching the entire series in anticipation of the final season this April. Can we talk about how satisfying it is to watch Joffrey writhe in pain?
wearing | I’m wearing mostly Trilogy Threads (TANDANDBELLY10) and Aventura (TAZANDBELLY20) this winter. I’m an ambassador for both and it’s so fun shopping from their selections. Aventura provides me with great basics, while Trilogy is perfect for less expensive, trendier pieces. I’m finally getting back into my normal size, so it feels like I have a whole new wardrobe!
