I’m usually way ahead of the game when it comes to Valentine’s Day crafts. I start shopping the dollar spot and clearance holiday sections at all of my favorite stores right after Christmas and the girls and I spend plenty of time brainstorming catchy slogans for their classroom cards. I know what you’re thinking– I should just buy the cards already — but I really do enjoy making them from scratch! In years past, we’ve run the gamut from easy peasy to crazy complicated. I thought it might be fun to do a little recap in case you’re looking for inspiration already.

Mini Crayon Coloring Sheet Printables (mini crayons via Amazon)
Ring Pop Valentine Printables (ring pops via Hobby Lobby)
Pucker Up! Silly Putty Valentine Printables (silly putty by Spritz)
Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend Printables (eraser rings by Spritz)
Gender Neutral Valentine Printables (pencils, silly straws + whistles)
Tic Tac Toe Printables (m&m candies)
A few of my other favorites from Pinterest this year are: candy necklace cards | bubblegum cards | friendship bracelet valentines | ipod diy | sweet shovels | emoji printables | Star Wars printables (Ella would LOVE these!) | dinosaur tie ons | unicorn skittles printables
Here is where this year’s dilemma comes in: we are so busy between now and the end of the month, plus we’ll be spending a week in California after that. We will have exactly FIVE DAYS to make Valentine’s Day happen when we come home. While I’m sure I could easily whip something up (and I might feel adventurous enough to do just that), this might be the year I bite the bullet and purchase something instead. Sure, I could drag the girls to the store and fight over what is left on the holiday aisle or I could just buy something adorable from Minted! How cute would these be paired with a favorite candy?
