Is there anybody still trying to figure out what in the world their kids are exchanging for Valentine’s Day?! We finally managed to get all of our cards cut and constructed today, but we were really coming down to the wire. For any of you still floundering on what to do, I’ve put together two quick ideas that will work perfectly for a last minute craft. We bought all of our supplies at Target this afternoon, but you can easily find items to substitute at the party store or at Hobby Lobby.
First up are these Mustache Sticker Valentines. These packages were only $3 and have 18 mustaches each! We just cut the clear plastic card down so that each mustache was on a separate card and stapled it to the printable. Ella really got a kick out of the wording on this one, so she decided to take these for her class party on Friday. I’ve also seen mustache whistles, stickers and tattoos at Hobby Lobby that would work just as well.
These Pucker Up Putty Valentines might be my favorite of the year. While the sentiment “pucker up” might not be perfect for the classroom, we thought they would be adorable for our cousins and close family friends. The plastic containers of lip-shaped silly putty were 12 for $3 and we just hot-glued them straight to the printable cards. These printables come in several different colorways and I loved how it looked to mix and match all of the colors. If you can’t find silly putty, try chapstick or candy lips instead!
