With December on the horizon, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas gifts and teachers are always pretty high on our list. If you’re anything like me, you scour Pinterest for clever ideas, only to fall back on the tried-and-true gift certificate days before the class party. This year I am taking all of the guesswork out of the equation for you and I’m so excited to share these Holiday Teacher Gift Ideas.
My favorite Walmart Photo product is this 14 ounce Collage Tumbler, available online or in-store at the photo center kiosk. At less than $15, this is the perfect gift for your favorite teacher. Since we love to personalize our gifts around here, we challenged ourselves to come up with three distinct gift packages for the girls’ teachers, using the same product in each.
This particular tumbler allows for five photographs and your choice of background color. The girls and I brainstormed a few fun quotes that were appropriate for their teachers and I created a simple graphic for the largest spot in the template. The remaining spots were filled with black and white photographs taken on field trips and in the classroom earlier in the year.
First up was Sophie’s kindergarten teacher. Sophie is a huge fan of nail polish and lip balm and since she insists her teacher’s favorite color is blue, she picked these items to add to her gift.
For Ella’s math teacher, we couldn’t resist a little equation humor. She picked out highlighters, sticky notes and a colorful pack of pens for her gift, but just about any fun school supplies would do!
For our last bucket, we were shopping for a coffee lover and we all know that Starbucks reigns supreme! We picked up peppermint sticks, hot cocoa mix and a small denomination gift card to round out our final gift.
We’re gifting the same item to each of our teachers, but armed with a quick trip to Walmart for a few extra supplies, we managed to pull off three completely different gifts.
