“But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12”
Some days, I don’t have as much time to spend in Bible study and reflection and on those days I often rely on the Jesus Calling app or the She Reads Truth website to provide a little inspiration. I loved this verse and didn’t have anything journaled in the beginning of John, so I decided to add another simple page that would be easy for you to recreate. I didn’t edit the video in any way {please forgive any long pauses}, so you can see when I changed my mind during the pencil sketch or decided on a different pen or marker.
I know that you guys prefer seeing videos where I narrate the process, so please forgive a little background music (Needtobreathe) today instead. I had a sick Ella at home with me on the day I filmed and there was some significant commentary about Edward Scissorhands going on in the background! Since it was such a simple page, I thought it was easy enough to follow without a voice over, but I promise I’ve got some other video tutorials lined up for you later in the month.
