It’s been far too long since I joined in on 5 on Friday. I like using these posts as a mini recap, but things have been so crazy that there isn’t much to recap outside my regular posts! Josh & I have both been traveling a lot for work and scheduling the littles to be passed around while we’re gone is HARD work. I think things have settled down a bit this week and I’m hoping we’ll get to enjoy a peaceful holiday season with a lot less stress.Speaking of the holiday season… I thought I’d share some card designs as I gear up to work on holiday cards over the next few weeks. I’ve been a busy little bee and the Christmas card orders are rolling in. Since I can’t spoil this years’ cards, I thought I’d share five of my favorite designs from last year.
ONE: I have to start with our card from last year, right? This was one of my favorite color schemes and the Instagram / #hashtag back is probably my favorite back ever (even though the year before we did a pretty cute calendar). You can probably tell that this card inspired the background pattern on the blog shortly after the first of the year!
TWO: My favorite client card of the year. This card was MADE with that photo and caption. Love.
THREE: This sweet friend used the back of her holiday card as a birth announcement! Another great way to use the back is to write a holiday letter or send your greeting as a postcard.
FOUR: Similar to our cards, but a different color scheme and more traditional backside.
FIVE: This is one of my favorite clients to work with each year. Her children are gorgeous and she is so fun and has wonderful ideas on how to make her cards unique. I loved the idea of using a chalkboard finish!
I’m currently taking orders for Christmas / New Year / Holiday cards. Every design is custom designed just for you (unless you choose a template from a previous design you see here) and can incorporate as many photographs as will reasonably fit. Cards are available in 4×5 inches and 5×7 inches and come in felt, pearl and linen finish. White envelopes are complementary and pearl or kraft paper envelopes can be ordered for an additional fee. All cards are professionally printed on high-quality stock and cut by hand. Please allow 72 hours for design turnaround and 5-7 days to receive your cards. For inquiries, please use the contact button at the top of the page. Happy Holidays, friends!
