/265: Monday, I tried hot yoga for the first time. A new yoga studio opened in our neighborhood and I am so thrilled! The classes are small and affordable and there is something almost every day. I’ve taken two classes now and I’m hoping to go once or twice a week. 86/365: Tuesday, I hit the treadmill again because it was pretty chilly outside. I loathe treadmill running. I’m slower and I get fatigued a lot faster. Not to mention, it is super boring to watch yourself in the mirror for more than a few minutes. Later that night, SK threw a little impromptu tea party in the playroom. Presh, right?
/365: I’ve decided the only downside the running, working out and weight loss is that my rings don’t fit that great any more. Even though I’m still a little bigger than I was when I got married, my hands appear to be smaller. I’m thinking that diamond needs to be re-sized. On the upside, I logged my fastest mile that same day!
/365: Our study guides came for Secret Church on Thursday. Even though we couldn’t go to the live Bible study, my girls’ group bought the simulcast and plan to re=watch it later this month. I am super excited! Before bed that night, SK had some snuggles with B on the couch. The dog usually runs from her (I wonder why?!?!), but was content to hang for a bit.
/365: I finally got around to ordering birthday invitations for Sophie, even though I was cutting it close. She wanted an Alice in Wonderland tea party this year and it is going to be CUTE. Friday night, SD & I had a super fun date night all by ourselves. We had a yummy dinner and saw Jerry Seinfeld live in Birmingham. This is the third time we’ve seen him do stand-up and we agree he’s still the funniest man on the planet. We both love him and Josh has a serious man crush. The tickets were a last minute purchase for ourselves before Christmas and probably the best gift we got.
/365: On Saturday our alma mater held their First Annual fundraiser 5K. There were only 78 runners, but it was a great turnout for the first year! My goal was to run it in 27 minutes, but I was a little over that (official times haven’t been posted yet). Either way, it was fun to run with my family and enjoy a massive Huddle House breakfast after. I also managed to snag tickets for another Mayer show that morning. The tickets for Atlanta were more expensive that Tuscaloosa, but frankly I couldn’t have cared any less. Ella is going with me this time (I know she’s young, but I want her to go while he’s still touring and with his health issues over the last year, I’m not taking any chances. I know you probably think that’s ridiculous, but I’ve seen him 6 or 7 times since college and it is the best show ever!). 91/365: Happy Easter!! Here is the aftermath of our wonderful morning at home together.
