11/4: We went to a super cute birthday picnic after church on Sunday. Meg did an outstanding job with the party and we had such a great time celebrating sweet Lucy. 11/5: I finally got a new phone (although I went with the 4s instead of the 5) and so Sophie inherited my ancient one. On Monday afternoon I finally managed to wipe it clean and install a few games for her. This is pretty much what she’s looked like ever since.
11/6: Whether or not we agree with how the election turned out, it’s still beyond important to me that we have an opportunity to voice our opinion. I was one of the first ten people to vote in my district on Tuesday morning.
11/7: I usually do my mid-length run on Wednesdays during my lunch hour. I was a little excited this day because I managed to shave 7 minutes off of my 5 mile run. I managed to finish up in 54 minutes.
11/8: I had been debating what to wear to Tuscaloosa all week and finally decided to rely on Instagram/Facebook to solve the problem. I got close to 50 opinions between the two and was pretty happy with how my gameday outfit turned out.
11/9: I finally realized that Christmas music was playing on the radio and my car has been tuned in ever since. Yay for the holidays!
11/10: We might not have managed a win against Texas A&M, but it was one of the best days I’ve had tailgating to date. We laughed from 6:30 that morning until we stumbled into bed at midnight. Roll Tide anyway.
