Well, it took me blogging Project 365 updates 11 days in a row over the last two weeks to finally catch up, but I did it. And I don’t plan to be falling behind any time soon. I’m tired of not blogging. I miss the interwebs. So, here is the first of many “regularly scheduled” P365 posts!
Sunday, September 23 (Day 257): I finally finished my third Gillian Flynn book on Sunday and I’m sad that there aren’t any more available. I love her writing style and the endings are completely unexpected. I need to read more books like this. Any suggestions?
Monday, September 24 (Day 258): The cleaning chart. I know ya’ll are surprised to hear that this was Josh’s idea and that he laid it out in Excel for me. I did do a little color/border tweaking on Monday morning before I printed it, but that’s just because I’m a nerd. So far, so good. I’m sharing a full cleaning post later this week!
Tuesday, September 25 (Day 259): This is homecoming week for us, so there were lots of fun festivities around campus. Our sweet daddy has been helping coach our junior varsity boys and we finally got to catch a game! The girls were so happy to eat concession stand chicken fingers for dinner and we helping cheer on our jackets to their first JV win of the season. So much fun. Even if it did involve being an hour late for bed.
Wednesday, September 26 (Day 260): I finally had a minute over lunch to review my notes from dotMom. We got fun little books to write in during the conference, but if you know me then you know that I’m completely OCD and horribly neurotic. I hate making mistakes when writing and I was worried I would run out of room. So… I wrote them down in a notebook and then rewrote them all pretty in the booklet over the course of several days. You’ve already read the posts, so you know all about it, but I’ll tell you one more time… it was FUN.
Thursday, September 27 (Day 261): I didn’t manage to take a picture on Thursday, BUT my sweet cousin Jessica sent me this super cute one. Ella walked over to the high-school bonfire with Molly & Jessica to celebrate homecoming. How cute are they?
Friday, September 28 (Day 262): I’m sad I didn’t just take the day off to spend at home with my littles, but I learned my lesson. We even decided not to send the girls to school on Homecoming until they’re out of elementary school. Josh waiting along with hundreds of other parents to check Ella out for the parade. They had a good time and I had to be happy with photo-text from the hubs to tide me over. I did remember to print these cute name tags to share at the alumni tailgate, though. Cute, right?
Saturday, September 29 (Day 263): I had been looking forward to a lazy day all week, especially now that there aren’t many chores to do on Saturdays. Coffee, catching up on my DVR, scouting new books to read, a fun birthday party and Alabama football. It doesn’t get much better than that!
I’ve committed to taking a photograph-a-day to document one year in the life of the little princesses. If you’d like to look at images from previous weeks, please click the links below!
