Last weekend we found ourselves at the beach again, only this time we were with Josh’s parents – Nana & Grandpa Cookie. We left late Thursday afternoon and headed to Pensacola for the weekend to enjoy some sun and the Blue Angels airshow. Friday on the beach was GORGEOUS. Josh had to work inside most of the day, but he did get to venture out for lunch and came out again later in the afternoon to watch the planes fly. I didn’t get any pictures of the stunt planes, since we were enjoying lunch on our balcony while watching them, but I did get some great ones once the Angels started flying.

some sand play while we were waiting for the planes
sophie hung out in the shade with me for a few hours
you know when Fat Albert flies, that the Angels aren’t too far behind
our first glimpse as they came in over the water
sophie learned fast to cover her hears / the show is LOUD
have you ever seen so many people on the beach?
holding daddy for a better view
seriously, that is a LOT of people.
loud noises = nap time for Sophie / she slept with her ears covered just in case
the girls sang “Call Me, Maybe” about 900 times on the beach
snack time!
after soaking up rays, we got off the island to avoid a 3 hour dinner wait
Landry’s in mainland Pensacola was just perfect and so yummy
