It’s that time again! Here’s what we’ve been up to for the last seven days!
Sunday, February 12 (Day 43): If you haven’t been reading for long, then you might not know that we have 1 closet in our entire house and it is in Sophie’s room. Josh & I keep our clothes in wardrobes in the laundry room and it makes for a VERY interesting closet situation. There are no walk-ins around here. Not only is it messy, but you can see I have clothes hanging on both doors, running shoes/gym bag in the floor, an unopened Zulily order, an old Bama shaker and some expandable files. Really?
Monday, February 13 (Day 44): On Monday’s lunch break, I spent a little time perusing Pinterest. I decided to search for “blue” and see what I could find.
Tuesday, February 14 (Day 45): Tuesday was Valentine’s Day. There were plenty of hearts I could have snapped throughout the day, but Ella had requested heart sandwiches in her lunch. These are her turkey & mayo hearts. There was also a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Heart and a sweet note on her pink napkin.
Wednesday, February 15 (Day 46): So, I’m actually taking my P365 pictures with my phone. Have you ever tried taking a picture of your phone, with your phone? Not an easy task. We don’t have a home phone and taking a picture of my office phone would give you my number. Not that I don’t love you, but I doubt it would go over well if everyone in blog-land were calling my office! I walked through the playroom late Wednesday night and saw this purple, plastic phone sitting out on the table. Sophie loves it. It rings and makes all kinds of noises and she thinks it is pretty stinking awesome.
Thursday, February 16 (Day 47): This is Ella’s third year to take dance lessons. Her first two years she was in a tap/ballet combo class and this year she’s in a tap/jazz combo class. She loves it and she is really good! Another dancer in her class named Ella has been wearing leg warmers for several weeks and my Ella was smitten. Little did she know I had already ordered her a new leotard, sweater and leg warmers from Zulily months ago. These sweet leg warmers were part of her Valentine’s Day surprise. She wore them to class last Thursday and LOVED them.
Saturday, February 18 (Day 49): I love coffee, but I am not one of those girls who drinks it every day. It is reserved for weekends and lazy days at home when I can enjoy it slowly. This country-fied coffee mug has been my vessel of choice for almost fifteen years. It was my mom’s and I almost always drank out of it growing up at home. When I was in college, it was the one I chose each time I went home for the weekend. When I got married and moved on, it found it’s way with me and I still drink out of it. I will be DISTRAUGHT when it finally kicks the bucket. Even my girls know it’s mommy’s cup.
