How happy this bridge makes me on my morning commute?
I promise I was pretty careful shooting this on my way into work. I didn’t even look through the camera and was very surprised to see that I actually caught it. I’ve been admiring it for over a week, but never managed to have my camera handy. I finally planned for it and snapped early last week. It always makes me smile.
How wonderful it is that Ella can sometimes feed Sophie breakfast?
Sometimes Ella loves to help and other times she acts completely put out. She and her daddy had requested pigs-in-a-blanket the morning this was taken and it’s kind of hard to feed her and accomplish anything. Ella volunteered to feed her some fruit and cereal and boy was it a huge help. If I could convince her to change diapers we would be in great shape!
How irritating it is to come home to this?
I swear our dog is Houdini. We would leave her outside, but we’re convinced she would figure out how to open the front door. She was INSIDE her crate when this happened. She managed to open a 20 pound bag of dog food, disintegrate the packaging and spill this everywhere. Other things she’s eaten this week? a shirt I’ve only worn once, two maternity shirts I borrowed from a friend, some old flip flops and our iron. Thanks, B.
How funny our fishy funeral was this week?
Ella cried when we broke the news about Fishbone last Friday afternoon. It was sad and we were contemplating how to address the issue of life and death. The before we could finish saying, “We need to flush her down the potty,” she broke out into a huge grin. Who knew that flushing was so funny?!?!
How awful our “well” doctor’s visit turned out to be last Wednesday?
I thought these appointments were on Thursday and when I called to confirm them at 9:45 the nurse told me they were at 11 o’clock. That day! I drove the 50 minutes from my office to pick them up, ran through my driveway to grab the camera and Sophie’s diaper bag and drove the 25 minutes back to the doctors office. Not only did Sophie have to have four shots, but she has bronchiolitis and had to take a breathing treatment while we were there. She is on albuterol for two weeks and we’re hoping it does the trick. After loading the girls in and out of the car in the rain at the two pharmacies it took to find a small enough aerochamber, we splurged and treated ourselves to frozen yogurt.
Discuss.
