As if the fancy breakfast wasn’t enough, we enjoyed an evening at the circus for Josh’s birthday. And not just any circus, The Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, the Greatest Show on Earth. And not only did we go to this fabulous circus, thanks to Nana & Cookie we were on the front row!
We went early this year to check out the pre-show and had lots of fun. We didn’t realize we should get there super early, so we had to wait in line and didn’t have the best vantage point for the pre-show, but it was lots of fun. We saw a magic show up close, we saw clowns and men on stilts and even got up close and personal with a baby elephant, Asia.
Our seats were fabulous and we could see so great! Some of the acts were even right in front of us. You’ll be able to see from the photos below how close we really were – we didn’t have to zoom in for any of these shots. Of course, we had to mortgage the house to afford any souvenirs – who knew!? We were smart and carried last years’ flash light, but we still had to buy a pinecone {snowcone} in the elephant cup {which Ella didn’t like, but mommy sure did}, popcorn and cokes.
We are already looking forward to next year!
